⚠️ IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE: ZeroFee.gg is a TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM ONLY. We are NOT a party to any transaction, NOT a payment processor, NOT an escrow agent, and NOT responsible for any user conduct. All transactions are strictly peer-to-peer (P2P) between independent users.

1. Platform Nature & Zero Commission

ZeroFee.gg operates exclusively as a technology platform providing venue services. We:

  • Provide a digital venue for users to list and discover gaming-related items
  • Offer communication tools (chat, messaging) between users
  • Maintain user profiles with voluntary ratings and reviews
  • Provide a reporting mechanism for suspicious activity
  • Charge 0% commission on all transactions

We explicitly DO NOT:

  • Process, handle, or touch any payments between users
  • Act as an intermediary, escrow agent, or mediator in disputes
  • Verify user identities, ages, or legal capacities (no KYC/ID required)
  • Guarantee, warrant, or endorse any item quality, authenticity, or delivery
  • Insure transactions or provide buyer/seller protection
  • Take possession of, transfer, or deliver any items

2. Peer-to-Peer Transaction Model

ALL transactions on ZeroFee.gg are direct P2P. Buyers and sellers arrange payment, delivery, and terms entirely independently. ZeroFee.gg never holds funds, never processes payments, and never intervenes in disputes.

Payment arrangements are solely between users:

  • Sellers independently choose and specify their accepted payment methods
  • Buyers independently choose how to pay sellers
  • ZeroFee.gg does not integrate, process, or facilitate any payment processing
  • Users bear all payment processing fees charged by third-party payment providers
  • ZeroFee.gg has no visibility into, control over, or liability for payment transactions

3. No Identity Verification (No KYC)

ZeroFee.gg does NOT require identity verification:

  • No government ID, passport, or driver's license required
  • No age verification beyond self-reported date of birth
  • No address verification or proof of residence
  • No financial background checks or credit verification
  • No biometric verification or facial recognition

Consequence: Because we do not verify identities, users are solely responsible for verifying the identity, trustworthiness, and legitimacy of other users before engaging in transactions. ZeroFee.gg cannot and does not verify who users claim to be.

4. User Responsibilities & Assumption of Risk

By using ZeroFee.gg, you explicitly acknowledge and agree:

For Buyers:

  • • You deal directly with sellers at your own risk
  • • You are responsible for verifying seller credibility before paying
  • • You choose payment methods and bear all associated risks
  • • ZeroFee.gg cannot recover funds if a seller fails to deliver
  • • You must use payment methods with buyer protection (e.g., PayPal Goods & Services, credit cards)
  • • You agree that ZeroFee.gg is not liable for any losses

For Sellers:

  • • You deal directly with buyers at your own risk
  • • You are responsible for delivering items as described
  • • You choose payment methods and bear chargeback/fraud risks
  • • You are solely responsible for tax reporting and legal compliance
  • • You agree that ZeroFee.gg is not liable for any buyer disputes

5. No Refunds & No Chargebacks Through Platform

ZeroFee.gg does NOT process refunds, chargebacks, or transaction reversals. We never hold funds, so we cannot refund them. All payment disputes must be resolved directly between users or through the payment provider used.

If you experience fraud:

  • Report the user via our platform reporting system
  • Contact your payment provider (PayPal, bank, credit card) for chargeback/dispute
  • File a police report if significant fraud occurred
  • ZeroFee.gg may suspend or ban reported accounts after review
  • ZeroFee.gg cannot recover funds or compensate for losses

6. Premium Subscriptions (7-Day Refund)

ZeroFee.gg offers optional premium subscriptions for sellers:

  • Free Plan: Limited listings, basic features
  • Premium Monthly: Enhanced features, more listings
  • Premium Yearly: Maximum features, unlimited listings

✅ 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Premium subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Contact support@zerofee.gg for refund requests. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable.

Important notes:

  • Premium subscriptions are for platform features only, NOT transaction insurance
  • ZeroFee.gg still charges 0% commission on all sales regardless of plan
  • Subscription fees are separate from and unrelated to P2P transactions
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

7. Account Suspension & Termination

ZeroFee.gg reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Fraudulent listings or scam attempts
  • Multiple verified reports from different users
  • Selling prohibited items (see Prohibited Items Policy)
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
  • Attempting to circumvent platform security
  • Violating applicable laws or game terms of service
  • Any activity we determine harms the platform or users

Process: We may suspend accounts immediately for clear violations. Users may appeal suspensions by contacting support@zerofee.gg within 14 days. Our decision on appeals is final. We are not required to provide detailed evidence to users.

8. Limitation of Liability (Maximum Protection)

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

ZeroFee.gg, its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall NOT be liable for:

  • • ANY direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • • Any losses arising from P2P transactions between users
  • • Quality, safety, authenticity, or legality of listed items
  • • Payment disputes, chargebacks, or fraud
  • • Account bans by game publishers or third parties
  • • Unauthorized access to user accounts or data breaches
  • • Any content posted by users
  • • Service interruptions, downtime, or technical failures

Maximum Liability: In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to ZeroFee.gg in platform fees (premium subscriptions) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is less. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, etc.).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZeroFee.gg and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the platform
  • Your transactions with other users
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights (including game publishers and IP holders)
  • Any content you post or transmit
  • Claims arising from your listings' compliance with game terms of service

10. Intellectual Property & Game Publishers

ZeroFee.gg is NOT affiliated with any game publisher. Game names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. Users are solely responsible for compliance with game terms of service.

  • We host user-generated listings and act as a neutral technology platform
  • We respond to valid copyright/trademark notices from rights holders
  • We may remove listings or suspend accounts upon credible publisher or DMCA complaints
  • We are not liable for publisher actions against user game accounts
  • Users indemnify ZeroFee.gg for IP violations in their listings

11. Community Donations

Optional donations support platform infrastructure. Donations are voluntary, separate from marketplace transactions, and do not purchase seller advantages. See Donation Policy.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by applicable laws where ZeroFee.gg is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes between you and ZeroFee.gg shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive class-action participation to the extent permitted.

Opt-Out: Email support@zerofee.gg within 30 days of account creation with subject "Arbitration Opt-Out".

Disputes between users (buyers/sellers) are not arbitrated by ZeroFee.gg — resolve directly or via your payment provider. See Dispute Resolution.
